Oklahoma Law Enforcement to Join Forces on New Year’s Eve

According to newsok.com, Oklahoma law officers worked 147 motor vehicle crashes New Years Eve 2008. Of those 147 motor crashes one person was killed, and 266 were hurt. Shockingly, the report details that

authorities found that alcohol was a factor in about a third of the crashes.

That’s almost 50 wrecks that were caused due to alcohol. That would mean almost 9o people were injured as a result of alcohol on one night.
