According to newsok.com a tragic head-on collision occurred Monday when a seventeen (17) year-old Woodward teenager apparently moved into the eastbound lane crashing head-on into a tractor-trailer. According to the report the accident occurred at 11:15 p.m.
Although the report doesn’t detail, I’m sure investigators are speculating whether fatigue played a role in the accident. Often times inexperienced drivers overestimate their abilities when driving at night and are not cognizant of the effects of fatigue.
Our heartfelt prayers and sympathies go to the family of this young victim. While I am a personal injury lawyer and have seen too many instances such as this, as a parent this is always tough to understand and fathom. I simply cannot understand the unimaginable grief the family is experiencing.
