Koco.com is reporting that a retired reserve deputy with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office was killed in a crash on Wednesday when a 27 year old driver crossed the center line hitting him head-on.

William “Bill” Riefer, 57, was traveling northbound in the 5200 block of South Mustang Road, where a southbound vehicle crossed the center line, hitting him head-on.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the deceased family. Its sad to see someone who retired as a public servant wherein he was charged with protecting the public die because of someone else’s negligence.
