The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety says traffic fatalities in the state are down by nearly half for the first month of the year.
According to a report on newsok.com, the DPS says 32 people had died in auto accidents as of Saturday — compared to 62 on the same date — Feb. 6 — in 2009.
The agency says six people were killed on the state’s roads through Saturday — down from eight for the month on the same date last year.
