Do you drive on Memorial Weekend?   How about the Fourth of July weekend?  Or do you drive for a summer vacation.  As Memorial Weekend is here and many of you are on the roads, its time to seriously think about driving safety.  Why?  Well its simple, Memorial weekend kicks off the summer driving season which also happens to be the deadliest driving season.  Car crashes, truck crashes, motorcycle crashes abound.  People are enjoying themselves and drinking and driving.  They speed and don’t obey traffic laws and all these lead to the fact that more car accidents, trucking accidents and motorcycle accidents occur during the summer driving season.

In a recent article from KTEN.com, Oklahoma troopers are quoted as saying “last year there were three deaths during the weekend. They say they were all caused by drivers speeding or driving drunk.”  Further, nation wide driving statistics show that 500 people die each year in car wrecks, trucking wrecks and/or motorcycle wrecks during Memorial weekend each year.  It’s a sad statement to inattentive and dangerous driving.
