According to the Enid News, the driver who fled the scene of a fatality car accident on February 26, 2010 has still not been found or identified.

According to the report

Dispatchers from Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troop J and Major County Sheriff’s Office said the man who left the scene of the accident a little more than a week ago has not been found.

According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, the unknown Hispanic male was driving a vehicle with Jose Hernandez, 41, of Ringwood, in the passenger seat approximately six miles south of Meno on a county road.

Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lets hope investigators can find the driver of the vehicle. One of the hardest things for the families of those injured or killed in a car wreck is when the perpetrated and/or witnesses cannot be found. The emotional scars seem to last longer given the unknown.
