Deadly head-on collisions and semi wrecks occurred in southeastern Oklahoma in the past couple of days. According to the Durant Daily Democrat
Two boys were flown from the scene of a crash this morning at Carpenters Bluff and Hendrix roads.
Authorities said two vehicles struck head on at approximately 7:25 and medical helicopters were dispatched for two injured children, ages 10 and 13. Both were flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
Authorities also reported about a semi crash that occurred with a car driven by an elderly woman. The article states:
Emergency personnel responded to a crash involving a semi truck and a car at 10:41 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 69/75 south of Durant. An elderly woman who was driving the car was taken by Bryan County EMS to the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma.
